What it costs
- £12.50 for each certificate, sent within 15 working days
- £38.50 for each certificate, sent the next working day
Order a certificate
You'll need the person's full name, the date of the event and where it happened. Our records go back to 1837.
If you do not know where the event was registered, you can order a certificate from the General Register Office.
