Dog fouling and stray dogs

Report dog fouling

Tell us where it is and when it usually happens. If you know who's responsible, tell us that too.

Report dog fouling

We'll clean it up within 3 working days. Our officers patrol problem areas, and anyone who does not clean up after their dog can be fined £100.

If you've found a stray dog

Call us on 01632 960 000. Out of hours, call 01632 960 004. If you can, keep the dog safe until we collect it. We'll scan it for a microchip and try to find its owner.

If you've lost your dog

Call us straight away. We keep stray dogs for 7 days. You'll need to pay a fee to collect your dog.

Dangerous dogs

If a dog is out of control or has attacked someone, call the police on 101, or 999 if someone is in danger.
