What happens next

A housing officer will contact you within 2 working days. They'll look at your situation and agree a plan with you. This could mean:

  • talking to your landlord or mortgage lender
  • help to pay rent arrears or a deposit
  • help to find a home you can rent privately
  • somewhere to stay while we look at your situation, if you have nowhere safe to go

If you're sleeping rough or worried about someone who is

Tell StreetLink where you or they are. Our outreach team will visit.

If you're leaving because of domestic abuse

You do not need to have a local connection to Knowmoor. Call us or the free 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline on 0808 2000 247.
