  • Knowmoor Park, Station Road. Open every day, 7:30am to dusk. Playground, café, toilets, bandstand, lake. Parking on Park Lane, free for 3 hours.
  • Highfold Country Park, Quarry Road. Open every day, all day. Woodland walks, play trail, visitor centre open 10am to 4pm. Car park £2 a day.
  • Brackenmoor Common, Moor Road. Open every day, all day. Nature reserve, bird hides, accessible paths. Free car park.
