If your child was born between 1 September 2015 and 31 August 2016, they'll start secondary school in September 2027. You must apply for a place by Saturday 31 October 2026.
Last year, 94% of children in Knowmoor got their first choice. Families who applied late were much less likely to get a school they wanted.
How to apply
You can list up to 5 schools. Listing more schools does not reduce your chance of getting your first choice.
We'll email you with your offer on 1 March 2027.
Primary school places
Applications for reception places in September 2027 are open now, for children born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023. The deadline is 15 January 2027.
