If your child starts secondary school in September 2027, apply for a school place by Saturday 31 October.
Report a parking problem
Tell us about vehicles parked illegally or causing an obstruction.
We can act on vehicles parked:
- on yellow lines when parking is not allowed
- in a residents' parking zone without a permit
- in a disabled bay without a Blue Badge
- across a dropped kerb or on zig-zag lines outside a school
- longer than allowed in a council car park or a limited waiting bay
Report a parking problem
Tell us where the vehicle is, when it's parked there and, if you can, its registration.
What happens next
We'll send a civil enforcement officer when we can. We cannot always come straight away, and we cannot tell you the result.
When to contact the police
Call 101 if a vehicle is causing an obstruction, for example blocking a road or a driveway. Call 999 if it's causing danger.
If you think a vehicle has been abandoned, report an abandoned vehicle.
