Foreword from the Leader of the Council - Our priorities

1. Support people with the cost of living

Help people get the benefits and support they're entitled to, and keep council tax increases as low as we can.

2. Give children the best start

Open 2 more family hubs and make sure every child has a good school place near home.

3. Homes people can afford

Build 1,200 affordable homes with our housing association partners, and halve the number of families in temporary housing.

4. A cleaner, greener Knowmoor

Recycle 60% of household waste and fix more roads before they need major repairs.
