We're spending £4.2 million to resurface 38 roads between November 2026 and March 2027. The roads were chosen after our yearly survey of every road in Knowmoor, and from the potholes people reported to us.
The work includes Station Road and Market Street in Knowmoor town centre, Quarry Road in Highfold, and Moor Road in Brackenmoor.
What it means for you
Most roads will be closed for 1 or 2 nights while the work is done, between 7pm and 6am. We'll deliver a letter to every home on the road at least 2 weeks before. You'll still be able to get to your home, but you may not be able to park on the street.
Check roadworks and road closures for the dates for each road.
Report a pothole
If you see a pothole or a damaged pavement, report it to us. We make dangerous problems safe within 24 hours.
