Highfold recycling centre on Quarry Road has reopened after 8 weeks of improvement work.
The centre now has a one-way route through the site, more containers so you can drive up to each one, and space for 20 more cars, which should cut queues at weekends.
New reuse shop
A new reuse shop sells furniture, bikes, toys and garden tools that people have brought to the centre, at low prices. It's run with Knowmoor Furniture Project, a local charity, and the money goes back into the charity's work. The shop is open Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 4pm.
You can leave items in good condition at the reuse container by the entrance.
