If your child starts secondary school in September 2027, apply for a school place by Saturday 31 October.

You can tell us about:
- building work without planning permission, or not following the approved plans
- work to a listed building or protected tree
- a change of use without permission, for example a home used as a business
- advertisements and signs without consent

What happens next
We'll visit within 10 working days, or within 1 working day if a listed building or protected tree is being damaged. Most breaches are put right by asking the owner to apply for permission or change the work. We only take formal action when it's needed.
