If your child starts secondary school in September 2027, apply for a school place by Saturday 31 October.
Apply for a dropped kerb
Get permission to lower the kerb so you can drive onto your property.
You need our permission to drive over the pavement to park on your property. We build the dropped kerb for you.
Check if you can have one
Your front garden must be at least 4.8 metres deep, so a car does not stick out over the pavement. You may also need planning permission if your home is on a main road, a listed building or a flat.
What it costs
An application costs £150. If we approve it, we'll give you a quote for building the dropped kerb. Most cost between £1,200 and £2,500.
