Help at home and equipment

Get care at home, equipment and alarms to help you stay safe and independent.

Care at home

Home carers can help with things like getting up, washing, dressing and preparing meals. You'll need a care needs assessment for us to arrange care, or you can arrange it yourself through an agency rated by the Care Quality Commission.

Short-term help after hospital or a fall

Our reablement service gives up to 6 weeks of free support to help you get your confidence back and do things for yourself again.

Equipment

We can lend you equipment such as bath seats, raised toilet seats, walking frames and bed rails. Small equipment and changes that cost less than £1,000 are free.
